About Bill Sears

Bill Sears earned a Master’s Degree in Architecture from North Carolina State University and is a partner at the prestigious firm of Sears, Hackney, Keener & Williams. When his efforts to find a suitable place for his own parents to age gracefully and comfortably in a supportive environment became challenging, he began to study the effects of architecture on age which resulted in the breakthrough Searstone Community in Cary. The innovative community provides continuing care in a supportive and caring environment.

Sears Farm North is his latest project. It is a community for 55+ Active Adults designed around the concept of Neuro-Architecture which aims to recreate a rural lifestyle in an urban setting. This purposeful design helps residents reconnect with neighbors and nature to live a longer, better and healthier life.
